My Stealth now projects and the single string work I like to do sounds much better and the sustain I get for slow things is very much improved now. I HIGHLY suggest these for your banjo and Arnold is one cool guy !!! Really nice guy to do business with. It reminded me of espresso, bold dark, resonant, yet with clarity and the right "ghosts" (my term) up the neck. The quality and care he puts into his work is absolutely noticeable. The bridge cost me around $25. What Don said about improving cheaper banjos is definitely true. I am very impressed with the product and with Dave. Strangely, the Fender factory is a close second, the difference being more in pronunciation way up the neck than in volume. I am looking for trades to share my library of Bridges, but no further experimentation on the Veerman, Dunno WHY these bridges work as they do, but I've tried them on ALL my open-back banjos (3 Chuck Lee tubaphones, a Vega Whyte Laydie, a Lo Gordon custom). I had another bridge already on which is very good! The old birch has even more bass. I dunno about BG usage but for open backs this bridge can't be beat. Thanks so much Gregg!! Sound wise I noticed a pretty significant increase in highs and a slight decrease in lows, with an overall boost in volume throughout.
